...................

Marco Salvatore Mallamaci’s compositions are created through the chromatic dialogue of skilful and transparent tonal counterpoints from which apparently idyllic and sensual figures emerge but which in reality lend their bodies to the faces of famous people from Hitler to Pope Francis.

Here we are dealing with a painting that at times fades into abstraction, in a context of very happy visual impact and which however becomes playful and provocative at the same time.

The artist works to create curiosity and fun in the observer, as he believes that through the key of the game, he can perhaps ask himself questions about past and contemporary history.

Marco Salvatore Mallamaci knows the expressive potential of colour well, but above all the wisdom of the drawing and the originality of the compositional system must be highlighted. Not only does he possess great mastery in the use of pictorial techniques, but also great preparation on an emotional level.
