| Marco Salvatore Mallamaci's art (by Dr. Sandro Serradifalco)
Marco Salvatore Mallamaci's art is irreverent, sometimes brazen, without ever being offensive or disrespectful, indeed very often it manages to be food for thought on various themes. His pictorial gesture is born primarily from the mind, where the concept, the abstract idea, begins to come to life and is then channeled into a flow of creative energy which ends in the final act of creation, that is, the act of painting. His stylistic research absolutely does not stop at the mere study of a technique or aesthetic factors, but follows darker and more complex paths with the ultimate aim of giving life to an art that can be of inspiration, an art that can communicate with the public, transmitting sensations of different origins. His art speaks of memory and memories, of those reflections of the past that still come back to crash into our minds today and everything is made incredibly suggestive by the choice of intense and modulated chromatic structures based on the feelings that the master intends to express. Mallamaci investigates deeply into the human soul, trying to discern those aspects that we are often unable to notice or sometimes to understand. The chromatic variations that modulate his works therefore assume a fundamental role that allowes the bystander to find those hidden reading keys, through which to interpret the work and reveal the mysteries of his linguistics made of images. Introspective art that combines the manufacturing technique and the material with abstract elements such as feelings and emotions, thus making each of his paintings no only an artistic experience, but also and above all a human and existential one. A great energy comes from his soul and is entirely poured onto the canvas to give us the possibility of establishing a more real contact with the artist, feeling ourselves part of his creative process.
